The Lake House is a tale of a young girl who lives with the battle of poor self esteem and after years of being teased by two older brothers and their friends, Brook Baker takes matters into her own hands by maturing into a beautiful, physically fit Police Officer whom prefers to work behind a desk instead of in the field.
After a number of unsolved murders occur in their small, tight community it’s her oldest brother Chad who calls in an old friend from the Academy to help solve the case and after being betrayed by her first love, the sight of Raylon Banks is a gift for sore eyes.
Through all of the twists and turns of a broken relationship and the stress of the unsolved case and how it affected the community, things start to change in a way no one could ever predict.
With her entire family of Officers working on the case it is eventually solved but not before unusual events start to occur and with a minor twist.
When all is said and done Brook finds her way back to the lake house where it all started and into the arms of a man she could never forget.
